Type the imprint code (letters, numbers, or symbols stamped on the pill)
Look at your pill and type the letters, numbers, or symbols stamped on it. Don't worry about uppercase/lowercase or spacing — PillOrNOT handles all formats (e.g. "m365", "M 365", "m 365" all work the same).
For more accurate results, add the pill's color and shape. This helps narrow down the match when multiple pills share the same imprint code.
PillOrNOT uses AI-powered web search to identify your pill:
Pill imprints are typically embossed (raised) or debossed (indented) — meaning the text is the same color as the pill itself (white on white, blue on blue). Camera-based AI struggles to read these reliably. Typing the imprint code gives much more accurate results.
PillOrNOT uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) architecture. Your searches go directly from your browser to Groq AI using your personal API key. There is no PillOrNOT server — just static code on Cloudflare's CDN.
PillOrNOT is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a pharmacist or doctor before taking any medication. Do not rely solely on AI identification for medication decisions. When in doubt, take the pill to your local pharmacy for professional identification.
